Untitled Document Southern Polytechnic State University was recently awarded $200,000 in funding from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to increase nuclear education and expand the workforce in nuclear safety and nuclear-related disciplines.
The funding is part of the Integrated University Program, coordinated and awarded through the NRC, U.S. Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Administration to support multi-year research projects that do not align with programmatic missions but are critical to maintaining nuclear engineering and science.
