Foundation
The Southern Polytechnic State University Foundation, Inc., is the University's legal entity
for receiving private gifts to meet educational and institutional needs not funded by the
State of Georgia or by tuition and fees. The Foundation's primary mission is to raise money to
help the University reach its goals.
Gifts to the Foundation support scores of programs and projects including the following:
academic scholarships; academic programs; faculty travel and relocation expenses; student,
faculty, and staff awards; student competitions; L. V. Johnson Library; athletics; alumni
activities, and more. The Foundation receives gifts from faculty, staff, alumni, corporations,
other private foundations, and friends of the University.
